In this hands-on soil science workshop, we’ll examine, assess and learn about the different soils on site from the shoreline, gardens, and into the water. Other examples of soils and substrates gathered along the canal will be on-hand for comparison and discussion. 

Nance Klehm of social ecologies (www.socialecologies.net, IG social.ecologies) has over three decades of experience in the restoration and remediation of impacted soils and ecosystems. She has lived in little village for 28 years.
