Participants will get a tour to look at the components that make up the Wild Mile; from the floating garden structures to the wildlife that lives in it. 

We’ll then take a deep dive into how the Wild Mile’s native plants remove excess nutrients from the Chicago River, looking at Nitrogen cycle through an interactive onsite activity. This event is affiliated with Chicago Water Week, presented by Current.
